Ellen joined Golden Harmony in April 2026 as an RN Supervisor. In her role she conducts in home assessments to help determine the best way a caregiver can assist clients and families in their homes. She also provides training and competency checks for the caregivers to ensure they are equipped to deliver quality care to our clients.

Ellen graduated from UNC-CH with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked primarily in Intensive Care and Coronary care units as a staff RN. She later obtained a master’s degree in nursing and practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary health clinics in Louisiana and Virginia. For the last 10 years she has worked in the Home Care field and most recently managed a Home Care agency in a Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Raleigh area. Ellen is passionate about working with the elderly and enjoys all the interactions and quality time she gets to spend with clients during home visits. She also appreciates the opportunity to work with the caregivers to learn from them and to assist them in providing the best care possible to all the Home Care clients.
While not at work Ellen enjoys taking walks and hikes, swimming, reading, and spending time with her husband and three adult children.
